I was surfing the net and lick links to links as usual and ZOMIGOSH! Never knew that pee could be cute as well…I mean I have seen many little sh*t getting cute and stuff but pee as well? It all started out as a student project and was designed by Emma Megitt for her Master’s in Design project. She started the couple’s Web site for the plushy bodily produce. Requests started pouring in and you know the rest of the story. It became so big that they have their own merchandise ranging T-shirts, stick-on tattoos and even underwear. Kids sure love them thou. Check it out!

The Talented Ones: Touma

 

 

Touma the Knuckle Bear

 

Well, it’s time for another Talented One and this time is Touma. We have always been a big fan of Touma’s works especially Jin (Oh yeaah!). The designs are always very unique and very original. Somewhat Sharp and blockish shapes makes the designs even more define and the designs for every toy he made are well-known and accepted. His creation, Knuckle Bear is the most well-known among his creations. A bear with an angry growling expression, big strong arms and awesome looking tattoos.

His other famous creation is the skuttle, a bad-ass looking turtle. You would make fun of all the tortoise or turtles but you definitely wouldn’t want to mess with this one. Why?

There he is! Protecting Knuckle Bea..err,Touma. Beware! He bites,slices and slashes.

 

Touma has also worked with many famous toy companies such as Kidrobot, Toy2R and Play Imaginative to come up with a series of cool looking and limited toys.

Daft Punk x Coca Cola

Following the last post about Daft Punk's helmets, here is the latest update on other DP stuff. Via Pitchfork and Spaceghetto, Daft Punk is collaborating with Coca Cola to produce their own collectible bottle design which probably will be known as 'Daft Coke' or 'Club Coke'. How cool is that?! Love DP, Love Coke. Not much information about it yet and I don't even know whether it is believable or not. There's even this website www.daftcoke.com which could be the official page for the product but there's nothing in there yet.

The bottles will come in 2 colorways and they are likely to be inspired by the Daft Punk helmets. Besides that, you can be sure that the package for these two bottles will be nicely designed too. Drink from DaftCoke and you might get derezzed.

I have to get this off my chest! It all began yesterday when i saw a post on Andy’s toysrevil blog, www.toysrevil.blogspot.com and there I saw these new dissected apes! Oh Man! The newest Kaws and Bape collaboration, these cute and gruesome but somehow these yougottagetoneassoonyouseeit somehow cast me in a trance(Don’t bother to ask me how) but the more I look at them the more my heart itches..so....i have a quick read thru and I noticed Toyqube selling them! Yes! Gotta get me one of these and somehow I end up on the toyqube website:

so, this brings me to why I started this post..

Brian Donnelly or better known as KAWS is someone who inspired us(Jorge and me) way back. He makes the impossible possible and he’s now one of the most influential person in the world. Dreams do happen if you stay fire and never give up on it!

Going from bus stop to phone booth advertisements and subversting imagery. These reworked advertisements became a hit and became increasingly sought afterranging from Bape, Comme des Garcons, Vans and many more. Later KAWS start to design and produced very limited toys which became a hit through out the world. He has reworked on many famous cartoon and movie characters from Disney, Starwars and The Michelin Man! He also started his own brand OriginalFake which collaborated with many famous brands as well!
